“The Simpsons” Renewed For A 29th AND 30th Season

Looks like our favorite, or at least most consistent, animated family are not done yet. Seems like the are just getting started. It was announced that The Simpsons have been renewed for a record breaking 29th and 30th season bringing the episode count to a whomping 669 episodes which is THEE largest number of episodes for any scripted television series ever breaking Gunsmoke‘s 635 episode, Sorry Not Sorry Gunsmoke.

Don’t worry, like most of the show for the past 28 seasons there won’t be much changed and cast members Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria And Harry Shearer are all set to return for both seasons, well unless someone dies. So congrats to the 7.2 million people who still watch The Simpsons you have two more seasons of Homer’s drinking, Marge’s raspy voice, Lisa’s good girl attitude, Bart’s bad boy hijinks, and…wait has Maggie even started to talk yet? IDK but you Simpson fans enjoy your two more seasons.
